โรงแรมเชอราตัน หัวหิน รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา ต้อนรับนักมวยกว่า 15 ชาติทั่วโลก ในโอกาสเก็บตัวฝึกซ้อมก่อนคัดตัวโอลิมปิกปารีส 2024

โรงแรมเชอราตัน หัวหิน รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา ต้อนรับนักมวยสากลจาก 15 ชาติ 4 ทวีปทั่วโลก กว่า 200 คน ในโอกาสเดินทางมาร่วมเก็บตัวฝึกซ้อมมวยสากล (Boxing Olympic Pre-Camp Cha – Am & Hua – Hin 2024) ณ โรงแรมเชอราตัน หัวหิน รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา ซึ่งจัดโดยสมาคมกีฬามวยสากลสมัครเล่นเยอรมันนี และสมาคมกีฬามวยสากลแห่งประเทศไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 12 – 21 พฤษภาคม 2567

ตามที่ สมาคมมวยสากลสมัครเล่นประเทศเยอรมัน (German Boxing association) ร่วมกับ สมาคมมวยสากลแห่งประเทศไทย (Thailand Boxing association) นำทัพนักมวยชุดคัดตัวโอลิมปิก กว่า 200 คน จากหลากหลายประเทศ อาทิ เยอรมันนี ซาอุดิอาระเบีย ไอซ์แลนด์ มองโกเลีย นิวซีแลนด์ มาฝึกซ้อมเก็บตัวเพื่อเตรียมเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันคัดตัวโอลิมปิกปารีส 2024 (2nd World Qualifying Tournament Boxing Road To Paris – Bangkok 2024) ในวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม – 2 มิถุนายน 2567 เพื่อเตรียมตัวเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน คัดเลือกไปโอลิมปิก ที่กรุงเทพมหานครนั้น
ทั้งนี้การเก็บตัวดังกล่าวจะสลับสับเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนไปในแต่ละประเทศทั่วโลก โดยในปีนี้ทางสมาคมฯ ได้คัดเลือกประเทศไทยเป็นสถานที่ฝึกซ้อมสำหรับนักมวย และจากการเดินทางสำรวจในหลากหลายพื้นที่พบว่า อำเภอชะอำและหัวหินเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีความพร้อมและศักยภาพสูงทั้งในด้านความปลอดภัย ความเป็นธรรมชาติ ภูมิอากาศที่ดี โดยเลือกโรงแรมเชอราตัน หัวหิน รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา เป็นสถานที่ในการพักผ่อน และฝึกซ้อมอย่างเข้มข้นตลอด 10 วันเต็ม

ด้านมิสเตอร์ นิโคไล มิทเชลล์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป โรงแรมเชอราตัน หัวหิน รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา กล่าวว่า “เรายินดีที่ได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับ และคัดเลือกให้เป็นสถานที่ในการฝึกซ้อมเก็บตัวของนักมวยก่อนเข้าร่วมคัดเลือกคัดตัวที่กรุงเทพฯ กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นไปได้ด้วยดีจากการสนับสนุนของภาคส่วนต่างๆ ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน อาทิ คณะกรรมการโอลิมปิกแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ สมาคมกีฬามวยสากลแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมกีฬามวยสากลสมัครเล่นเยอรมันนี กองบังคับการสนับสนุนทางอากาศ กองบัญชาการตำรวจตระเวนชายแดน ค่ายนเรศวร จังหวัดเพชรบุรี อารีน่าหัวหิน เดอะเลเจ้นด์ อารีน่า ตลอดจนผู้สนับสนุนอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย เพื่อส่งเสริมและสนันสนุนการฝึกซ้อมให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดซึ่งถือเป็นความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจของเราในการเป็นสถานที่รวบรวมผู้คนจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก นอกจากนี้เราได้ปรับพื้นที่ห้องประชุมขนาดใหญ่ 2 ห้อง ได้แก่ ห้องแกรนด์บอลรูม ขนาด 525 ตารางเมตร และห้องแชนเดอเลียร์ ขนาด 888 ตารางเมตร รวมพื้นที่ 1,413 ตารางเมตร จัดเตรียมอุปกรณ์การฝึกซ้อม และเวทีมวย พร้อมทั้งยังร่วมออกแบบและจัดเตรียมอาหารสำหรับนักมวยขณะฝึกซ้อมให้ตอบโจทย์ตามหลักโภชนาการที่เหมาะสม เพื่อให้การฝึกซ้อมเก็บตัวในครั้งนี้เป็นไปได้ด้วยดี ท่ามกลางบรรรยากาศและสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ดีในการฝึกซ้อมของนักมวยนานาชาติ นอกจากนี้ยังถือเป็นโอกาสดีที่นักกีฬาจากหลากหลายประเทศเดินทางมาเก็บตัวที่ประเทศไทย เป็นการสร้างกระแสการเดินทาง ส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่หัวหิน ชะอำมากยิ่งน

Hua Hin, Thailand – Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa is proud to welcome over 200 international boxers from more than 15 countries and 4 continents for the Boxing Olympic Pre-Camp Cha-Am & Hua Hin 2024. This prestigious training event, organized by the German Amateur Boxing Association in collaboration with the International Boxing Association of Thailand, is taking place from May 12 to May 21, 2024.
Boxers from countries including Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Mongolia, and New Zealand are participating in this intensive training camp to prepare for the 2nd World Qualifying Tournament Boxing Road to Paris – Bangkok 2024, which will be held from May 24 to June 2, 2024, in Bangkok.
Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa has been chosen as the training location due to its high readiness, potential, and ideal environment for the athletes. The resort has upgraded its facilities, including the Grand Ballroom (525 square meters) and the Chandelier Room (888 square meters), to accommodate training equipment and a boxing ring. The resort is also catering to the nutritional needs of the boxers, ensuring they receive appropriate meals during their stay.
