ไรฮาน สจ๊วร์ต ขอสู้ช่วงปรีซีซั่นเพื่อชนะใจโค้ช ก่อนฤดูกาลแข่งขัน 2023/24 และฟุตบอล เอเอฟซี แชมเปี้ยนส์ ลีก 2023/24 รอบเพลย์ออฟ ที่จะมาถึง พร้อมเล่าถึงการปรับตัวกับชีวีตในรัง “เดอะ แรบบิท”

ในทีม บีจีพียู ไรฮาน จะได้ร่วมงานกับเพื่อนร่วมทีมชาติสิงคโปร์ อย่างสองพี่น้อง อิรฟาน และ อิคซาน ฟานดี้ รวมถึงเพื่อนเก่าจาก เชียงใหม่ เอฟซี อย่าง พาตริก กุสตาฟส์สัน ซึ่ง ไรฮาน เล่าถึงความช่วยเหลือจากเพื่อนเก่า ในทีมใหม่เหล่านี้ว่า “มันช่วยได้มากเมื่อคุณเห็นหน้าคนรู้จัก คนที่เคยเล่นด้วย เป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยให้ผมปรับตัวเร็วขึ้น”

ไรฮาน และเพื่อน ๆ กำลังเข้าสู่สัปดาห์ที่สองของปรีซีซั่น โดยแข้งวัย 23 ปีตั้งเป้าหมายกับตัวเองในช่วงนี้ว่า “ปรีซีซั่นกำลังดำเนินไปได้ด้วยดี การซ้อมมันหนัก แต่นี่ก็ปกติ เป็นเรื่องที่เราต้องพร้อมกับมัน เราต้องทำงานหนักในช่วงนี้เพื่อมีซีซั่นที่ดี เป้าหมายของผมคือการชนะใจโค้ชในช่วงปรีซีซั่น”

BG UPDATE: Ryhan Stewart on pre-season and adapting to life with BG Pathum United.

New signing Ryhan Stewart opens up about the hard work during pre-season and talks about adapting to life with his new club BG Pathum United.

“So far the squad has welcomed me in. The coaches and players have been really welcoming,” said the 23-year-old Singaporean international who recently arrived at BG Stadium from Chiangmai FC “It’s been really nice, and what an honor to play for one of the biggest clubs in Thailand.”

Joining BG Pathum United meant Ryhan is greeted with familiar faces such as compatriot the Fandi brothers as well as old Chiangmai FC teammates like Patrik Gustavsson.

“It helps to see the familiar faces because, as you know, I’ve played with them before so it helps me acclimate faster to BGPU.”

Ryhan and his teammates are two weeks into pre-season training with head coach Thongchai Sukkoki and, while sessions can be tough during this period, the right wingback is happy to put in the effort as he set sight on impressing the coaching staff ahead of the new domestic season.

“Pre-season has been really good. It’s been tough sessions as you would expect from pre-season. But that’s what we need. It is hard so we can do well in the season.”

“My target is to impress the coach as much as I can, and hopefully I can do that in pre-season.”
